Local science teachers are encouraged to use the SHARE page of this site to spread awareness about composting to their students during ICAW.

CITY SCHOOLYARD GARDEN

Participating City Schoolyard Garden schools will be focusing on compost in the garden and in the lunch room during garden tours and Harvest-of-the-Month.

COMPOST DROP-OFF

Do your part to reduce the amount of food waste headed for the landfill and bring it to the McIntire Recycling Center, Ivy MUC, or the City Market to be composted!

LIBRARY DISPLAY

Bring your kids to visit the Downtown Library’s display case featuring compost. Check out a book about compost while there, and start composting today!
